Ok, Bren (and anyone else who ventured out).....what did you get today?
I looked through the ads, but I just didn't see anything that interested me.
I bought my husband a Wii in July, so I gave my son money to buy me a WiiFit. (He works at GameStop.)

Just looking forward toThanksgiving..Brad is flying in!( I haven't seen him for a month) and my girls will be home from college sometime this weekend and spending the week at home. Brandon's already here, as he lives with us....and Nate will not make it this year...He's in Monterey at the Presidio and can't get the time off..He's LOVING the Air Force!

Also most of the people who are on this as "authors" have administrative privileges too. If you don't, it's just because I didn't click the right part yet, let me know and I will. That means you can invite anyone else you think of. Invitations don't have to come from just me. After you sign in, go to "settings" and then "permissions" and just add the person's email to the list.

Happy Friday everyone. I am really just testing how this posting works. My dd blogs all over the world, hence we don't see her on the boards; and I am amused and amazed at the conversations she has. Since WWYD is currently the Trish show, I am avoiding it after having been drawn in to responding to her.

I'll have you know I have already conquered a line-waiting evolution. Walmart had a secret sale last Saturday. A few items were offered for special prices. One of the items was a Compaq Presario Laptop for 298.00. I was in line @ 6:30 for an 8 am sale time. And I was #28. Some people had been there since 12:30 am. But no matter. I got one. And I love it.... 160gb hard drive, 2gb ram, 15.4 inch screen, DVDrw...it's awesome. Of course after Andy came back from his Manly Man weekend, he nearly commandeered it.

I am so looking forward to BF again. Don't know what I'm going after yet, but nonetheless, I'll be there.

So this is how it ends, huh?

All of us huddled together under the Google umbrella and looking for a permanent home. Oh well, it could be much worse.

OK I went through and sent invites to anyone who has posted on the WWYD board except I did it once then the whole list disappeared so when I did it again I might have missed someone. I also can't tell if someone's on AIM so if they are, they might not get the email. If so on either count, just ask someone to invite you. You can do that when you're signed on, go to "settings" then "permissions."
if there's anyone who hasn't been around for a while who might come back for a non-AOL posting option, pass word on.
